Temple Repairs & Building Fund Update
At present, we are blessed to have received donations of over £20,000 toward our Temple Repairs Building Fund. Your generosity is deeply appreciated, and it allows us to begin addressing important improvements across our temple facilities.
Works Completed / In Progress
- Extension of the food serving area
- Installation of brand-new wall paneling
- High-grade flooring upgrades
Approved & Upcoming Works
- Roofing works (approved and shortlisted)
- Replacement of windows throughout the building (quotes reviewed, approval imminent)
- Internal fire safety enhancements within Pandit Ji’s flat
- Upgrade to alarms and fire safety systems
- Potential new ceiling within the Darbar Hall
- Further painting and decoration across the temple
Financial Outlook:
The scope of works is considerable, with projected costs upwards of £85,000. While the current donations have given us a strong start, continued support will be vital to complete these essential upgrades and ensure the temple remains safe, welcoming, and beautiful for generations to come.
